Big news from the Appleseed Network! Nebraska Appleseed and Georgia Appleseed are each celebrating a $1 million grant from MacKenzie Scott’s Yield Giving. It’s a momentous occasion that spotlights the impactful and dedicated work they’re doing.
Nebraska Appleseed is a force for good in the Midwest, tirelessly working to ensure justice and opportunity are within reach for all Nebraskans. Their holistic approach to tackling systemic issues like poverty, child welfare, and health care has earned them this significant grant. Becky Gould, Nebraska Appleseed’s Executive Director, shared her enthusiasm, saying, “We are deeply honored and grateful for the recognition from Yield Giving. This contribution will advance Nebraska Appleseed’s continued advocacy, as we work to elevate community voices and needs.”
